A two - year intensive training program for therapists and health professionals who wish to learn and apply the principles of orgonomic practice as conceptualized and taught by Wilhelm Reich, MD and developed by Dr. Harry Lewis and Dr. Daniel Schiff in their decades each of clinical practice, study, and teaching. Utilizing a combination of lecture/discussions, assigned readings, trainer and participant case presentations, video presentations, and live demonstrations with video analysis, participants will learn first-hand how to accurately apply orgonomic principles which will allow for them to work in an integrative manner with all aspects of a client’s armor – characterological and biophysical - with the goal of fostering the gradual restoration of orgonomic pulsation and moving toward the establishment of orgastic potency.
Topics addressed in this training:
Structure of the training: a. Participants will meet with Drs. Lewis and Schiff for a 5-day intensive training session twice yearly over a two-year period (60 contact hours/year). b. Participants will meet for 7 additional two-hour reading/study sessions per year via the internet (14 contact hours/year).
These sessions will be facilitated by Patricia Estrada with some participation from Drs. Lewis and Schiff. c. Participants will have a minimum of 30 personal therapy sessions over the two year period in participate in supervision sessions. Total of 148 contact hours - not including individual and supervision sessions.
